China's Growing Role in Central Asia’s Security
00:00 China's Growing Role in Central Asia’s Security
00:37 Why China has a larger role
01:03 Benefit or risk for the region
01:31 Message China is sending
02:06 U.S. engagement
China has shown a greater interest in Central Asia’s security and stability in recent years, expanding its engagement with countries in the region both bilaterally and as a whole. Bates Gill, senior fellow in Asian security at the National Bureau of Asian Research, discusses his recent trip to Central Asia with USIP colleagues and what they learned about why China has taken a larger role in Central Asia, how Central Asian countries view China’s increased security engagement and why there’s still interest in greater U.S. engagement with the region.

Brzezinski is solid here, as he's always been. These other clowns do the jew-guarding, i.e. mitigating the impression of Israel's utter brutality and refusal to even engage in peace. I gotta like that even today, as of mid 2024, western politicians pretend as if a two-state solution were longer possible.

Layman solution in a different perspective on Libya political problems that was caused by the Western powers US, NATO EU and France. = creation of Tribal confederation of Libyan states to avoid Libyan break up into pieces. Then Elections in every principalities step by step. = there must be a security guarantor states designated by UN. All Western countries including their so called think-tank spies must not be involved. EU UK and the US will not be included because of CREDIBILITY issues. China, Russia, Turkey Iran India Saudi, UAE and Qatar are those best trustee players. = First thing first is that Oil industry should be controlled by the state at any cost with the help of United Nation and curve the tribal violence. Once the oil is controlled by the state securely, all will easily follows. = AVOID any of the Western think-tank to involve in any political solution of Libya. They are all the Trojan horses with an agenda. Their ideas should be treated as mere scratch of paper.

The game of the US is to sip monies from a country like Libya in order to sell their weapons and ammunitions and not to mention the long term loan in exchange for Security protection. European game like the US is for resources like the oil in Libya. They will leverage on the existing conflict and they want the continuity of the conflict rather than the solutions. All of these talks and projects for a better Libyan solutions is fake and all fraud. The cost of Life of every Libyans is nothing for them. these are all scripted think tank ideas.

The problem of these people of America and Europe are DECIDING on what to do in a country where they are not living and citizens. They are talking like a Parrot. Now, use your common sense, how would you DECTATE a country where you do not have an experience on the DYNAMICS and the environment of the population? theory will never be equal to actual reality in the field. so as a result any POLITICAL solutions and design will be a failure. Also credibility wise, you Americans do not have a credibility to talk about the solution on what you just destroyed because nobody would listen on your artificial sweet words. Now you implant your so called democracy in a way that popular election will be held soon but what If LIBYA will conduct a fair and honest ELECTION and then Saif Islam Khadaffy will be allowed to run as candidates? probably he will win the presidency and that is the BIG problem of the WEST particularly the US because if he becomes president he is anti US Libyan president.

Why don't you discuss the smuggling lines on the streets of Thailand or the percentage of children among those participating in loud drug parties in the United States or public sale stores in Amsterdam... Shouldn't we demand that drugs be included in stock market and stock trading in order to be able to share in the profits?

Stupid and same old, questions being recycled by the USA chap. It's been 27+ Months of the Ukraine situation and these chaps still don't get the message. Comparison with China had me LMAO. Every Indian today knows, Ukraine is a proxy war by USA. Get real ! Ukraine's peace formula is a non-starter and except NATO, no one pays any attention to it. This is an unfortunate geo-political games being played between two powers & USA stands totally exposed. Russia has waited out the propaganda of 2+ years and allowed its opponents to expose themselves..... with every passing day.

Why has it taken so long? Indigenous peacemaking: could it possibly be that its time has finally arrived? The great religions, the most powerful armies, the dominant economic institutions. All have failed to bring lasting peace. I believe the Indigenous Peoples may finally be heard. They may be the only ones who truly know:"The leaves of the (tree of Life) are for the healing of the nations" (Rev. 22)

First of all media of USA and Europe should stop interfering with India. Then I will say that today people of India do not have faith in USA and Europe because of your media. Then you have all those ridiculous indexes. Where Pakistan is above India. The index lists made me smile, anyway. Then arming India's enemy and China's friend Pakistan. If these things continue, I don't think people of India will trust Europe and America. Yes, I agree that the friendship between Russia and India was very good in the past. But Russia till date has not done anything to harm India. Even Russia did not help China in such a way as to harm India. That's what the USA and Europe do. No matter how much USA and Europe say they will share technology or help India. Until you change your media report and index I don't think people of India will trust you. And after a few years I guarantee that Russia, China and India will work together. Stop giving arms and money to Pakistan, and make yourself look good on the people of India.
